So my wife Tammie And I drive around on weekends experiencing different things and trying different food. We come from Greenwich, Connecticut, Connecticut recently being designated the Pizza capital of the world. We regularly travel the next town up to Stanfords Sergio’s Pizza, which I think is by far one of the best pizzas out there. Greek style. Sure Connecticut has its iconic Pepe‘s and Sally’s and Colony Etc. Each good and distinctive in their own way. And they have all opened multiple locations. phil’s Pizza in Syosset. Very modest front in a row of stores. Anthony, a great guy, probably a guy who could be everybody’s best friend, runs a bunch of Instagram’s, that are all a put on. That’s what drew me here. You know he’s a family man and anyone that knows me knows what family means to me. I have never felt the need to write a review ever before. I have never bought pizza by the slice. A thicker crust than what I’m used to. But what a crisp! Tam and I tried nine different slices. Each pizza was an experience and an adventure. Meaning each was made with the best of ingredients and toppings. Each piece visually appealing like pastries in a pastry shop. Nothing Whacking in each slice. Each one not only the best specialty slice but also Some very creative pizzas. The eggplant rollatini Was probably the best rollatini I ever had and there it was sitting on a pizza slice. The Chi chi A meal in itself. The upside down, Sicilian? I thought I was at a feast eating a pizza fritta.The Figettaboutit , Fuhgettaboutit! Like I said, the big boys in Connecticut are opening up multiple places all over. Anthony come to Fairfield County Connecticut. This is where the money is and I can tell you there’s nothing like Phil‘s anywhere around here.. Seriously. I wrote this review about three weeks ago and never posted it. We’ve been back again for the second time today, And I’m posting it now. You guys are a regular destination From now on.

Mike hot honey slice was so good. This place is a must go to if you’re close by. Went to the Massapequa location never went here. Tom Kelly you made a good choice

The fig and burrata slice is amazing!! Team was great. I came in towards the end of the night and ordered some slices to go. Some guy name Phil helped me and was a really great guy. Would recommend and will be back.
