Long Island Pizzerias Unite for “Pizza For a Cause” Fundraiser

More than 100 pizzerias across Long Island are coming together to support the victims of the Farmingdale bus tragedy through a community-wide fundraiser.

Phil’s Pizzeria and Restaurant in Syosset is hosting the initiative, called “Pizza For a Cause,” with participating restaurants donating $5 from every pie sold.

Supporting Victims and Families

The proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit those injured in the crash, as well as the families of educators Gina Pellettiere and Beatrice Ferrari, who lost their lives in the tragedy.

The effort reflects the strength of the Long Island restaurant community and its commitment to standing together during times of loss.

A Community Effort

By turning a simple meal into a meaningful act of support, local pizzerias are helping provide both financial assistance and a message of solidarity to the families affected.

The fundraiser highlights how small businesses across Long Island continue to step up for their neighbors when it matters most.
